HUNT GROUPS

A 'Hunt Group' is the method of distributing phone calls from a single telephone number to a group of phone lines of your choice. Our algorithms will select which line will receive the call based on your needs and requirements forwarding your calls to up to 5 different destinations, be it landline, mobile or international destinations. If no one can answer, the opportunity to leave a Voicemail to Email will always be provided.

Our package covers three options, both of which improve efficiency when tailored around your needs.

  • Circular Hunting: your calls are distributed “round-robin”. If a call is delivered to line one, the next call goes to two, the next to three, and so on. Lines are only skipped if they are still busy on a previous call.
  • Idle Hunting: delivers your calls to whichever line has been idle the longest, distributing the load on you and your staff more evenly.
  • Linear Hunting: calls are always delivered to the lowest-numbered available line, unless it is busy.
